You can also take insulin reducing supplements such as Inositol before meals which has been shown to lower insulin levels in women with PCOS. There are other inflammation reducing supplements to help. Certainly if you do not suffer from the symptoms of irregular periods, reduced fertility, and weight gain but still have PCOS, the above is not a requirement. There are 4 types of PCOS and some are not specifically due to insulin resistance. Do your research people.
