How much should I take of each product and at what time?

2 capsules once daily with food (any time of day)

1 capsule once daily after a meal (any time of day, but works best to take after your biggest meal or highest carbohydrate meal to promote optimal blood sugar)

1 capsule every second day. For best results, take on an empty stomach 1 hour before food or 2 hours after eating.

General Guidelines On Dosage

General Dosing Guidelines

Most of our products can be taken at any time of day and are best taken with food (with the exception of ProbIron which is best taken on an empty stomach: see below for more information).

We suggest taking zinc or calcium-containing products away from iron-containing products as these nutrients compete for absorption. Taking them at different times during the day will help your body absorb the maximum amount of each nutrient

Extra tips for iron supplementation

We suggest taking ProbIron away from caffeine (black/green tea, coffee, energy drinks), alcohol, antacid medication, zinc and calcium supplements as these all reduce iron absorption.

We suggest supplementing your iron every second day for enhanced absorption.

Iron is best absorbed when taken on an empty stomach either 1 hour before or 2 hours after food. Because of this, we find it works well to take ProbIron first thing in the morning before breakfast, or right before bed
